Manasi Paul
Me, Manashi Paul, former lecturer, moderator and examiner of music at Vivekananda College for Women under University of Calcutta, would like to say something about My Music Mentor, the virtuoso, Most Respected Sree Ramanuj Dasgupta. He is not only a truly exceptional mentor, but also possesses a unique blend of profound musical talent and endless patience that makes every lesson a gift. I started learning music from him , when I was just 12 and today I have crossed 60 and I would like to say that he not only shared his extensive knowledge of music but also ignited a passion for it by fostering a supportive and encouraging environment. I've watched him adapt his teaching style to suit each of his disciple, transforming complex concepts into something understandable and fun. More than just teaching notes and rhythms, he built confidence, inspired a lifelong love for music, and helped me unlock my full potential. Expressing my sincere gratitude to this blessed son of Maa Mahashwetaa and also praying to the SUPREME for his healthy life.

Dipa Ghosh
Myself Dipa Ghosh and I am proud to be a student of my "sangeet Guru", the renowned Ramanuj Dasgupta. Needless to say, he is one of the pioneers in the world of music. Words cannot express enough how glad I am to have him as my mentor. I have been completely detached from music and singing since last twenty years. Stepping into my quadragenarian years, I decided to resume my singing but was not confident enough whether it would still be possible. Because, by that time, I lost the flexibility of my vocal muscles as they grew stiff with years of abstinence from singing. Thereafter, he provided me with confidence that I can start singing again. After going through many singing related "Yogic exercises " and scientific methods, he taught me how to use different breathing techniques to control my voice and tone. Actually, he does not just teach how to sing, he makes us learn the intricate connection between brain and various breathing techniques and how to use them to our aid while singing to make it sound melodious. To this day however much I can sing, all of its credit goes to his unique pedagogical expertise. My whole hearted respect and gratitude to him.

I came in touch with Pandit Shri Ramanuj Dasgupta almost two years ago and in last two years my perspective about music has changed dramatically. He taught me the bigger meaning of life through music. From him I have learnt that yoga and music go hand in hand. Also, his way of teaching is unconventional, unique and full of improvisations. I feel grateful every single day that I have got the opportunity to learn from such a great personality and even greater soul.
